Main purpose of the Content Creator role:

The Content Creator is responsible for concepting, capturing, and producing engaging photo and video content that brings the REVOLVE and FWRD brands to life across digital and social platforms. This role creates platform-first content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, retail displays and more while supporting brand storytelling through fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and event coverage.

Working closely with the Creative, Social, Editorial, and Marketing teams, the Content Creator will develop compelling visual content that reflects each brand's distinct aesthetic while driving audience engagement. The ideal candidate has a strong creative eye, stays ahead of social and cultural trends, is comfortable shooting both on iPhone and professional camera equipment, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where adaptability and speed are essential.


Major Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Capture photo and video content for REVOLVE, FWRD, and owned brands across social, merchandise and retail channels.
  • Create engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
  • Support on-set content capture during campaigns, editorial shoots, events, and brand activations.
  • Edit short-form video and photo assets optimized for each platform.
  • Assist with creative concepting, shot lists, and content planning.
  • Collaborate with Creative, Social, Editorial, Marketing, and Production teams to execute content needs.
  • Stay up to date on social media trends and incorporate best practices into content creation.
  • Organize and manage digital assets while following internal workflows.
  • Ensure content aligns with REVOLVE and FWRD brand standards and creative direction.
  • Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Support additional content and production needs as assigned.


Required Competencies:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Strong creative eye for photography, videography, and visual storytelling.
  • Passion for fashion, beauty, luxury, and social media content.
  • Basic proficiency in content creation, including shooting and editing photo and video.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and current content trends, particularly Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn, take feedback, and adapt in a fast-paced creative setting.
  • Flexibility to work on-set, attend events, and travel as needed.
  • Positive attitude, initiative, and attention to detail.


Minimum Qualifications: 

  • 2–3 years of experience in content creation, social media, digital marketing, or a related creative role (internships and freelance experience are a plus).
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Photography, Film, Digital Media, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience capturing photo and video content using iPhone DSLR and/or mirrorless cameras.
  • Basic proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, Lightroom, and Photoshop (After Effects is a plus).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, and an understanding of platform-specific content best practices.
  • Strong understanding of composition, lighting, storytelling, and current social media trends.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, travel, and support on-location productions as needed.
  • Portfolio demonstrating photography, videography, and/or social media content creation required.
