The Email Content Manager provides leadership for the creation, distribution, optimization and reporting on branded and campaign content across the email channel. This role is responsible for daily email execution using the Braze platform to build audience segments, build emails, manage campaigns and monitor and report on performance.
The Email Content Manager works within the Marketing Department to service stakeholders (e.g., Radio Programming, Live Events, Donor Engagement, Technology, Books, Movies and Podcasts) and works alongside the digital team focused on websites, apps and social media.

Here's some of what you will be doing...
  • Plan, build, test, schedule, send and monitor email marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain and manage an editorial calendar to plan, organize and schedule email campaigns, ensuring consistent communication cadence and alignment with broader marketing initiatives.
  • Improve, orchestrate, and create emails utilizing provided copy, graphics, links and other assets.
  • Understand and help create rich user experiences involving email and digital platforms.
  • Build, edit and improve audience segments for emails.
  • Identify, recommend and implement best practices for improving engagement rates and optimize campaign results.
  • Devise and conduct A/B tests to determine areas to improve subject lines, copy, design and images.
  • Analyze and report on email metrics.
  • Work with in project management software (e.g. Wrike) to track progress on graphics, copy, links and collaborate with designers, producers and other channel managers.
  • Connect and add audience data from internal or third-party data sources.
  • Work with stakeholders for all touchpoints of a user's journey in an email campaign (e.g., landing page, form, confirmation message, confirmation email, follow-up email, etc.), using clear, engaging and persuasive language.
  • Learn and adhere to best practices for email campaigns and industry standards.
  • Grow email subscriber lists for K-LOVE brands (i.e., K-LOVE, Air1, Goodsource, K-LOVE Kids).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Here's some experience and skills we are seeking...
  • Bachelor's degree in digital marketing, Marketing, Digital Media Studies, Computer Science, Communications, or a combination of education/training with relevant experience required.
  • Minimum three years' experience in email or digital marketing.
  • Experience creating, optimizing, distributing and managing email campaigns.
  • Experience using email marketing platforms; experience with Braze preferred.
  • Experience developing audience segments and automation strategies.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop preferred.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Wrike) preferred.
  • Experience in digital campaign development with an understanding of performance metrics, best practices, and digital trends (e.g., SEO best practices).
  • Experience with A/B testing and implementation of strategies to improve email performance preferred.
  • Knowledge of HTML preferred.
  • Ability to learn and master new software.
  • Solid understanding of copywriting, formatting and distributing content digitally.
  • Detail oriented with experience in AP Style a plus.
  • Naturally inclined to make things simpler and more intuitive, sensitive to how UI can help users, sensitive to color, layout, space, icons and visual hierarchy.
  • Ability to look toward the future to keep digital properties cutting-edge and ready for the evolving digital landscape.
  • Highly motivated individual who can work in the details, while ensuring the overall program is on strategy.
