Senior Associate - Product, User and Platform Support, Product Operations

As a Process Manager at Capital One, you will be part of a smart, talented team responsible for creating and enhancing processes that deliver excellence to your customereachtime. The Process Manager Associate will play a key role in delivering processes that impact the company's bottom line. In this position you will contribute immediately while strengthening your process management best practices.

About the Team:

The Product, User and Platform Support (PUPS) team provides application support for 9 applications within the Commercial Product and Treasury Management (PTM) Organization. This associate will work closely with internal application users, product managers, technology partners and others invested in system health and improvements.

General Responsibilities:

  • Leading and owning oversight of smaller process improvement work and collaborating with teammates on larger initiatives

  • Collecting data and information and using analytics and reporting to provide transparency to partners, senior leadership and executives

  • Identify and implement process improvements driving issue resolution/risk mitigation activities

  • Tracking and resolving process breakdowns

  • Understanding customers' needs of the process and driving process improvements

  • Developing and maintaining formal process documentation including procedures and process flow diagrams

  • Acting as a subject matter expert to effectively partner with project customers to achieve desired outcome or improvement by clarifying needs and providing appropriate solutions

  • May lead a team and/or direct others on projects

The Ideal Candidate will also:

  • Influence well-managed, governance and content development processes

  • Independently establish and maintain best practices for internal and organizational processes

  • Advice and or develop user content to improve user self help capabilities

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED orequivalent certification

  • At least 1 year of experience in Google Suiteor Microsoft Office

  • At least2years of experience in Business Process Management or Project Management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degreeor military experience

  • Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, Business Process Management, or Project Management certification

  • At least 1 year of experience in Compliance or Risk Management

  • Application support knowledge or customer service experience

  • Application experience in any of the systems utilized in commercial lending and servicing

  • Customer Facing Operations experience

  • Working knowledge of Google Suite and Jira
