Job description


The Manager of Sales Enablement will play a key role in driving Lenovo's retail success by developing and executing sales and marketing initiatives. This individual will create and optimize retail marketing toolkits, channel marketing programs, and sales strategies that empower both internal teams and external partners. Working closely with the Director of Training, this role will ensure that sales teams and channel partners have the necessary resources to maximize their impact in the retail sector. Additionally, this role will involve collaboration with the Sr. Director of Client Relations, Field Services, Data, and Analytics, serving cross-functionally to understand client needs and ensure alignment between training initiatives and broader client strategies.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Retail Marketing & Sales Enablement:
  • Develop and execute the regular production cadence of localized retail marketing toolkits for key sales periods, including Back-to-School and Holiday seasons.
  • Develop and execute marketing frameworks and programs in collaboration with channel teams to effectively position Lenovo products in competitive retail environments.
  • Identify data-informed short-term and long-term marketing tactics, evaluate trade-offs, and prioritize initiatives to build deep collaboration and trust with customers, partners, and field teams.

Collaboration:
  • Partner with the Director of Training and Client Services to develop co-marketing motions with top partners and support alliance funding processes.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Training and client services to develop joint retail marketing plans that drive demand generation and sales growth.
  • Ensure timely execution of programs in the channel and monitor performance metrics, adjusting tactics as needed to optimize partner success.

Reporting & Performance Analysis:
  • Produce a monthly consumer and retail channel report that covers relevant market insights, sales and promotional results, and upcoming actions.
  • Monitor channel performance metrics and adjust tactics to optimize field success.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to refine field marketing efforts.
  • Utilize gap intelligence and Circana data to provide predictive sales and training insights to the field team, including price moves, advertising, and competitive intelligence.
  • Collaborate with the Manager of Data and Analytics to manage Activate and all training metrics delivered through 360, ensuring that performance data is utilized effectively to inform strategic decisions.

Content Development & Training Enablement:
  • Drive the development of training content leveraging new technology learning methods, including e-learning (Rise 360'), interactive simulations, gamification, AI-driven learning tools, and microlearning.
  • Ensure content aligns with Lenovo's retail strategy and supports field teams in delivering a best-in-class customer experience.
  • Collaborate across marketing, sales, and product management teams to align on strategy, development, and tactical execution of impactful content.
  • Work closely with Lenovo Marketing and Product teams to integrate relevant product content into training materials.
  • Manage the effectiveness of training content, continuously optimizing tactics based on learner engagement, feedback, and performance data.

  • Proven experience developing marketing toolkits, sales enablement resources, and channel marketing strategies.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, sales data, and performance metrics to inform strategy.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
