Job Description C2's client, a proud, fourth-generation footwear retailer with a long-standing reputation for quality and community connection. They're ready to amplify their online presence and creative edge by adding a full-time Content Creator with a knack for video storytelling and great taste. You'll help them stand out in a packed DTC retail landscape, turning a healthy marketing budget away from stale ad spend and toward bold, scroll-stopping creative.

If you're passionate about making video content that actually engages, and want your work to support a beloved brand's next chapter, this is your chance. Start Date: ASAP Duration: Contract-to-hire, full-time Location: Hybrid (prefer onsite in Kenosha, WI; some flexibility for hybrid arrangement) Compensation: $20-$25/hr. commensurate with experience (W2 through C2) Benefits: C2 talent working 30+ hours/week for 30 consecutive business days are eligible for medical, dental, and optional vision insurance, life insurance, and PTO accrual; 401(k) retirement plan with employer match available for enrollment after 90 days.

Technology: Client provides necessary hardware and software. Key tools include Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro), CapCut, and other modern creative suites. Key Responsibilities Plan, shoot, edit, and produce attention-grabbing video content for company's social media channels, campaigns, and online brand presence Collaborate with marketing and design teams to dream up and execute creative content strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and conversions Own the full video lifecycle-pre-production, filming, post, and publishing-with a focus on storytelling, brand voice, and connecting with both new and loyal audiences Create graphic assets and visuals to supplement video projects, ensuring cohesive brand visuals across all channels Direct and edit short-form video spots (think: 30-second creative sprints), capturing and highlighting what makes the company's brand unique Continuously analyze content performance and industry trends to refine creative approaches and maximize reach Pitch creative ideas for new content series, social campaigns, and unique formats to keep the brand top-of-mind Qualifications Required: Professional experience (agency, brand, or freelance) creating, editing, and producing video-first content for social platforms Solid foundation in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, and contemporary creative/design tools Strong graphic design chops and the ability to translate high-level concepts into compelling multi-channel content Understanding of creative video editing principles-timing, pacing, music, narrative, and visual punch Collaborative and proactive communicator who thrives in fast-paced creative teams Highly tuned taste and trend awareness-knows what grabs and holds social attention Nice to Have: Experience working in retail, fashion, or direct-to-consumer brands Comfort in front of and behind the camera-can direct as well as "do" A love of pop culture, movie references, and humor in content Capability to "connect the dots" creatively; understands how to spot and capitalize on what works in digital content Not your type of gig, but know someone who would be interested.
