Position Overview

This position is responsible for creating photo and video content that supports our eCommerce business across advertising, online selling platforms, and social media channels. Content will be used in digital advertisements, product listings and on social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.

Most content capture will take place outdoors and in real-world environments rather than in a traditional studio setting. This role provides hands-on experience in content planning, production, editing, and optimization for digital marketing and eCommerce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a basic understanding of the eCommerce team's processes, products, and marketing objectives

  • Capture photo and video content for use in digital advertising campaigns

  • Create engaging content for social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook

  • Produce content that supports product listings and online selling platforms

  • Assist with video editing, image editing, and content organization

  • Collaborate with eCommerce Sales and Merchandising team members to execute content strategies

  • Track and organize digital assets, project files, and content libraries

  • Create and review spreadsheets, reports, and other supporting documentation as needed

  • Perform general administrative and project support tasks related to content production

What Is Expected of You and Others at This Level

  • Minimal job-related experience required

  • Demonstrates creativity and a willingness to learn new skills

  • Acquires foundational content creation, editing, and marketing skills

  • Work is prescribed and completed with limited autonomy

  • Works under close supervision and established processes

  • Contributes positively to team projects and creative initiatives

Minimum Qualifications & Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Visual Communication, Digital Media, Journalism, Advertising, or a related field

  • Must have access to video recording equipment capable of producing high-quality content (smartphone or camera)

  • Experience creating content for social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or Facebook

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, or similar content creation and editing tools

  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills

  • Basic understanding of social media trends, content formats, and audience engagement strategies

  • Ability to work outdoors and travel to content capture locations as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience creating short-form video content for social media

  • Experience with photography, videography, or digital storytelling

  • Knowledge of eCommerce marketplaces and online selling platforms
