FOX Creator Studio (FCS), a division of FOX Entertainment, partners with leading creators to turn bold ideas into premium IP, original formats, and enduring brands, combining creator vision with FOX's scale and infrastructure. Platform agnostic by design, the studio works with digital native talent to expand their ideas across YouTube, television, streaming, film, and more.


The Vice President, Business Development & Platform will lead FOX Creator Studio's growth strategy across distribution, monetization, strategic partnerships, and platform relationships. This executive will be responsible for identifying and executing opportunities that expand the studio's reach, revenue, and long-term enterprise value across digital and traditional media ecosystems.


This role requires a strategic operator and dealmaker with deep knowledge of the platform landscape, evolving monetization models, and the commercial mechanics of creator-led businesses.


Regular, on-site attendance at the workplace for five (5) days per week is an essential function of the position. The selected candidate must be able to meet this requirement reliably.


A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and lead business development strategy for FOX Creator Studio across platforms, distribution, partnerships, and new revenue streams
  • Build and manage senior relationships with key platform partners across YouTube, FAST, AVOD, SVOD, social, and emerging distribution ecosystems
  • Build and manage relationships within the broader M&A and investment community to support strategic opportunities and partnerships
  • Identify opportunities for content licensing, co-production, windowing, syndication, and format expansion across the FOX Creator Studio network
  • Structure and negotiate strategic partnerships that enhance audience growth, monetization, and long-term enterprise value
  • Partner across FOX divisions to drive an integrated strategy spanning creators, content, distribution, and commercialization
  • Create scalable frameworks for platform optimization, performance reporting, and revenue forecasting to support disciplined decision-making
  • Support creators in expanding beyond native social environments into premium multi-platform distribution opportunities
  • Evaluate new business models, platform features, and market opportunities to inform studio strategy and delivery
  • Open new revenue streams with a proactive, deal-driven approach (organized deal hustler)


WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 12+ years of experience in business development, strategy, platform partnerships, distribution, digital media, or entertainment
  • Experience in licensing and merchandising
  • Experience with financial/model building and deal evaluation
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Media, Communications, Finance, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Proven success in structuring and negotiating complex strategic partnerships and revenue-generating deals
  • Deep understanding of platform ecosystems, including YouTube, FAST, AVOD, SVOD, social video, and emerging media models
  • Strong commercial instincts and fluency in monetization models, rights structures, and distribution economics
  • Strong familiarity and network within the general M&A community

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $206,000.00-293,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
