ROLE SUMMARY:
The Regional Marketing Coordinator supports B&I's marketing presence within an assigned region by producing digital and graphic content, representing the company at trade and community events, and executing targeted social media campaigns under the direction of the Director of Marketing. This role is highly visible - both online and in person - and is critical to building B&I's brand with industry partners, clients, prospective employees, and the communities we serve.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Digital & Graphic Marketing
  • Produce digital and graphic marketing assets - flyers, social graphics, event collateral, email templates, web content, and similar materials - as directed by the Director of Marketing.
  • Ensure all materials adhere to B&I brand standards and are consistent with company-wide marketing strategy.
  • Support regional campaigns, internal communications, and ad-hoc marketing requests from regional leadership.

Event Representation
  • Attend and represent B&I at trade events, industry conferences, and association functions across the assigned region.
  • Represent B&I at charitable and philanthropic events, supporting the company's community engagement strategy and visibility as a corporate partner.
  • Coordinate event logistics including booth setup, branded materials, giveaways, and on-site execution.
  • Capture event content (photo, video, attendee engagement) for use in ongoing marketing campaigns.

Jobsite Content Capture
  • Conduct regular jobsite visits across the assigned region to capture professional video and photography of active projects, crews, and completed work.
  • Coordinate site visits with project management and field leadership, adhering to all jobsite safety protocols and PPE requirements.
  • Organize, tag, and upload captured assets to OpenAsset for use across marketing, business development, and recruiting initiatives.

Cross-Functional Support
  • Collaborate with business development, operations, and recruiting teams to understand local priorities and translate them into marketing execution.
  • Coordinate with the broader marketing team to ensure regional content complements company-wide initiatives.

Recruiting Marketing & Social Media
  • Develop region-specific content (posts, reels, short-form video, project highlights, employee spotlights) that reinforces B&I's brand presence in the local market.
  • Maintain a consistent posting cadence across applicable platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
  • Partner with the Recruiting team to support recruiting-focused social media campaigns aligned to the region's active hiring needs.
  • Monitor campaign performance and adjust content and targeting in collaboration with marketing leadership.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of professional experience in a marketing or event planning role.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms and content creation tools (Adobe Creative Cloud, Premier Pro or Similar).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%.
  • Availability for night and weekend work to support events, trade functions, and community activities.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred
  • Experience within a construction, MEP, AEC, or skilled-trades environment.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of social media analytics and reporting tools.
  • Photography and short-form video production skills.

This position requires the ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis. The employee must be able to perform tasks involving physical labor, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials, tools, or equipment. Manual material handling must be performed in accordance with OSHA safety standards and company policies to minimize risk of injury.
