Overview

We are seeking a Content Marketing Manager who will be the owner of all creator-facing content, communications, and storytelling for Captiv8's social commerce products, including Creator Storefronts and Affiliate Programs.

You will create high-quality content (written, visual, and short-form video), manage creator-focused social media channels, produce weekly newsletters, and support the growth of our top creator segments. You will also track social commerce metrics and partner closely with Product, Product Marketing, and Creator Success to share insights and recommend optimizations across the platform.

This role is ideal for someone who is a content creator themselves or has deep knowledge of creator workflows, social trends, and performance-driven content.

Responsibilities

Creator Content & Communications

Own all creator-facing content and communications for Captiv8's social commerce products.

Produce a weekly creator newsletter featuring program updates, product tips, trends, and curated content.

Develop and deploy ad-hoc email marketing campaigns to drive adoption, activation, and retention.

Create clear, compelling product copy for storefront features, affiliate instructions, onboarding flows, notifications, and in-platform messages.

Support updates to email onboarding drips, creator notifications, tooltips, and educational content.

Social Media & Content Creation

Create, film, edit, and publish short-form content across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging channels to promote Captiv8's creator tools.

Run Captiv8's creator-facing social media accounts end-to-end (strategy, calendar, execution, reporting).

Develop content including:

Tutorials

Product explainers

Creator tips

Success stories

Feature launches

Trend-aligned short-form videos

Ensure brand voice is authentic, helpful, and aligned with what creators respond to.

Social Commerce Insights & Optimization

Track performance metrics across storefront and affiliate programs (e.g., adoption rates, link creation, click-through, GMV indicators).

Identify insights, trends, and creator behaviors to inform product and operational improvements.

Share clear recommendations with internal teams (Product, Creator Success, Product Marketing) on how to optimize creator experience, drive conversions, and improve content performance.

VIP Creator Nurture & Product Feedback Loop

Support top creator segments by:

Surfacing best practices

Highlighting success stories

Helping identify gaps in product or processes

Work closely with Creator Success to collect creator feedback and translate it into actionable product recommendations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in Content Marketing, Social Media, or Creator-focused Marketing.

Demonstrated experience creating content across TikTok, Instagram, Reels, Shorts, or YouTube.

Strong writing skills: able to produce newsletters, product copy, and short-form content.

Comfortable reviewing and interpreting performance data to guide decisions.

Experience with email platforms, social scheduling tools, and basic design or editing tools.

Strong communication, organization, and project management abilities.

Passion for empowering creators and understanding creator workflows.

Bonus: You are a creator yourself (even at a micro level).
