This is a unique opportunity for a strategic writer who enjoys transforming ideas into compelling stories that engage clients, employees, and business leaders. Approximately 70-80% of this role is focused on writing and content creation, making it an ideal fit for someone with a journalism, corporate communications, or public relations background. This is not an event planning or marketing coordinator position. The successful candidate will serve as the organization's primary content creator, partnering closely with executive leadership to develop polished communications across multiple channels. What You'll Do Create original executive and corporate communications from concept to completion Develop articles, newsletters, thought leadership pieces, press releases, website copy, email campaigns, and social media content Transform one business initiative or event into multiple pieces of content tailored to different audiences and platforms Interview executives and internal stakeholders to uncover compelling stories and key messaging Write with a strong understanding of audience, purpose, and business objectives Ensure all communications reflect a consistent brand voice and professional tone Support corporate events through pre- and post-event communications rather than event logistics Partner with leadership to develop high-quality content requiring minimal editing Manage multiple projects while balancing competing priorities and deadlines What We're Looking For 5-7+ years of experience in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or Corporate Communications Bachelor's degree required, ideally in Journalism, Communications, English, Marketing, or Public Relations Exceptional business writing and storytelling abilities Experience creating original content from scratch rather than simply editing or coordinating contributions Executive communications experience strongly preferred Ability to interview stakeholders, ask thoughtful questions, and develop meaningful stories Strong attention to detail with excellent proofreading and editing skills Comfortable collaborating with multiple leaders and incorporating feedback Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Preferred Experience Experience creating content such as: Executive newsletters Articles Press releases Thought leadership Website content Email marketing campaigns Social media content Corporate communications Marketing collateral Experience with CRM, email marketing, content management systems, graphic design tools, or basic video editing is considered a plus. The Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who thinks like a journalist. You naturally ask: What is the story? Why does it matter? Who is the audience? What action should this communication inspire? Rather than simply documenting information, you create content that informs, engages, and drives results. You thrive in collaborative environments, welcome constructive feedback, and take ownership of producing polished, high-quality communications. Why You'll Love This Opportunity Highly visible role partnering directly with executive leadership Opportunity to own the organization's content strategy and storytelling Diverse writing projects across multiple communication channels Collaborative, professional team environment Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits BHJM4359 #MON
