Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive data entry clerk to manage daily container tracking and ensure smooth coordination with truckers for delivery appointments. This role involves monitoring container movements through online portals, updating internal systems, and communicating with truckers to help them schedule deliveries promptly. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for identifying missing containers and notifying the appropriate personnel for resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

· Track and monitor incoming and outgoing containers daily using designated websites and online tracking systems.

· Update container statuses and relevant information in the internal system to ensure data accuracy.

· Follow up with truckers each day to remind them to schedule and confirm delivery appointments.

· Double-check that all containers are properly logged in the internal system.

· Report any missing or unlogged containers to the designated team member for immediate action.

· Assist in coordinating delivery schedules to optimize logistics efficiency.

· Maintain clear and timely communication with the operations team, truckers, and warehouse personnel.

· Perform other related administrative or support duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Excellent communication and follow-up abilities, especially with truckers

· Basic computer literacy and experience using web-based tracking portals and Microsoft (excel and Outlook).

· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
