Hiring for Repair Technician paying up to $25 per hour in Woodbridge Township, NJ

Job Description

The Repair Technician performs testing, troubleshooting, and repair of FAA-approved temperature-controlled cargo containers while supporting overall warehouse operations and material movement. This role ensures containers are clean, structurally sound, and free from defects that could impact performance, and maintains accurate documentation of all work performed in dedicated systems.

Responsibilities

  • Test, troubleshoot, and repair FAA-approved temperature-controlled containers to ensure safe and reliable operation.
  • Inspect containers and patch holes or other damage to maintain structural integrity and performance.
  • Perform de-riveting and riveting on cargo containers using appropriate hand tools and equipment.
  • Deliver containers in a clean condition, free from defects that could affect operation or performance.
  • Manage warehouse activities, including material movement and basic inventory handling.
  • Respond promptly to technical assistance requests from customers within the assigned area.
  • Provide training and demonstrations of FAA-approved active container systems to customers in the area.
  • Document all work performed using CATS and work order systems in a clear and accurate manner.
  • Monitor stock levels of spare parts and report or replenish as needed to support continuous operations.
  • Maintain the repair facility in a clean, safe, and operational condition, following applicable guidelines and best practices.

Pay and Benefits
