Job description

This full-time position is located at the Downtown facility for Central Bank of Boone County.
Provides assistance to assigned officer(s) in performing duties as a commercial loan officer. Assists Commercial Loan Assistants in their day-to-day work and leads training of new staff. Performs majority of administrative paperwork and maintenance of existing customer accounts. Responsible for assisting senior management in monitoring compliance to lending policy and banking regulations and assists in creation and implementation of training materials and huddles to support issues. Responsible for compliance with banking regulations which are applicable to job, including Bank Secrecy Act and information security initiatives. Responsible for acting as a resource for both the Commercial Lending and Consumer Lending Assistants. Acts as a liaison between the Loan Administration Officer, Loan Operations and Consumer Lending Officers. Monitors policies and procedures currently in place, implement new procedures that may be needed due to regulatory or compliance changes in lending.
Hours will be Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Front-line contact with all current and potential commercial loan customers. Will work closely with all officers and assistants in the commercial lending, personal lending and real estate lending departments. Works closely with the credit department and loan operations personnel. Has contact with most departments of the bank in order to fulfill requests and answer questions of commercial customers. Contacts title companies, appraisal companies, insurance companies, attorneys, state/local/county government agencies. Acting as a leader of the consumer lending assistant function, works extensively with Consumer Lending Assistants and Officers, Loan Operations, Indirect Funding Clerk and Loan Processing to ensure polices/procedures relating to Consumer Lending are being followed and maintained.
