7NOW New Verticals is the restaurant marketplace business within 7-Eleven's delivery organization, connecting customers to local and national restaurant brands through the 7-Eleven and 7NOW applications. This role owns consumer promotional strategy for the marketplace, from offer design and pricing execution through performance measurement and iteration. Beyond running the promotional calendar, the position is accountable for the consumer journey from first order through repeat purchase, defining the trigger, channel, and offer at each stage and partnering with the CRM team on the customer communications that deliver it. The role operates in a growth-phase business where the promotional playbook is still being written, and requires someone who can read performance data, form a point of view, and change the approach based on what the results show. This position works cross-functionally with Product, Analytics, CRM, Loyalty, and Sales, contributes to the consumer pricing working group, and manages the promotional investment plan within the New Verticals P&L. This role is based on site at the Irving, TX Store Support Center.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Own the consumer promotional calendar and execution end to end for the 7NOW New Verticals marketplace, from offer design through build, launch, and post-campaign performance analysis in support of organizational objectives
  • Align and integrate the organization's objectives with the business strategy through strategic planning, data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Define and own the consumer journey from first order through repeat purchase, establishing the trigger, channel, and offer construct at each stage
  • Devise actionable strategies from customer insights. Bring the consumer perspective to decision-making by executing market analysis and research activities to provide insights and recommendations
  • Partner with the CRM team to develop and sequence customer communications, providing the strategy, audience definition, and offer construct that the CRM team executes, and coordinate with marketing on promotional copy and placement including banners, offers, and pages
  • Collaborate with Product and Technology teams to identify and implement technology enhancements for better consumer experience and operational efficiency
  • Build the repeatable promotional playbook that supports launch into new markets as the business expands beyond its current footprint

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree

YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 4+ years

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • 4+ years of experience in consumer promotions, growth, pricing, or customer retention roles; marketplace, delivery, e-commerce, or subscription business experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and interpreting promotional tests, including control group construction, incrementality measurement, and translating results into offer design changes.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong data fluency; able to work with large datasets, build promotional forecasts and track spend against plan, interrogate dashboards such as Power BI, and translate analysis into a recommendation without requiring analyst support for every read. SQL familiarity is a plus but is not required.
  • Working knowledge of promotional economics, including discount depth, margin impact, and the trade-off between acquisition volume and retained customer value.
  • Experience translating customer research, survey data, and behavioral data into offer and journey decisions, with comfort across both quantitative analysis and qualitative consumer insight.
  • Experience defining customer journeys and communication strategy across in-app, email, push, and SMS channels, including reviewing promotional copy and placement with marketing partners; Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience desired but not required.
  • Experience partnering with product and technology teams to scope, prioritize, and business-case consumer experience enhancements.
  • Comfort operating in an early-stage business where the operating playbook is being built rather than inherited, including the ability to prioritize independently amid ambiguity.
