Job description

  • Lead Consumer Research Partner with merchants and product developers to define business questions and research objectives
  • Select the most appropriate qualitative and quantitative methodologies to answer complex business challenges
  • Independently design, program, execute, analyze, and report consumer research studies
  • Ensure research quality through strong research design, questionnaire development, sampling, and statistical rigor
  • Apply Advanced Consumer Research Methodologies
  • Independently analyze and interpret statistical outputs and translate findings into actionable business recommendations
  • Build compelling, executive-ready stories that simplify complex research into strategic recommendations
  • Present findings to merchants, product developers, and senior leadership
  • Leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve research quality, efficiency, and speed-to-insight
  • Champion the voice of the Member across the product development lifecycle
Requirements
  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Arts, Finance or related field and 4 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field
  • Option 2: Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 2 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field
  • Option 3: 6 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field
  • Strong business acumen with curiosity about Members, merchandising, and consumer behavior
  • Experience leading end-to-end consumer insights or market research
  • Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research with the ability to apply the right methodology
  • Ability to synthesize data into strategic business recommendations
  • Exceptional communication, executive presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience influencing without authority and managing multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with AI tools, Excel, PowerPoint, and consumer research platforms
