Job description

Bring your marketing creativity and passion for technology to the Consumables Marketing team and help establish Amazon as the preferred shopping destination all things Consumables. As a Senior Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the consumer marketing strategies for multiple product categories and market segments. You will bring your proven creative, analytical and project management capabilities to imagine, plan, implement and optimize customer campaigns. This position offers an opportunity to leverage your understanding of marketing and consumer behavior inside one of the world's leading retailers.
Key job responsibilities
Create long term and short-term strategies to drive growth via new customer acquisition and customer engagement for Consumables
Use data and insights to develop a deep understanding of the drivers of customer purchase behavior (acquisition) and customer activation (engagement) and translate those insights into innovative customer campaigns and promotions
Plan and execute high visibility media and merchandising campaigns that inspire customers and drive new customer growth and sales
Lead strategy and execution of new marketing tactics to drive engagement and conversion
Create innovative internal and external partnerships to drive organic visibility and traffic for the category
Develop and execute financial investment plans in collaboration with Finance partners; establish measurement and review processes
Partner with Central Teams to identify and reapply best practices to expand reach and secure resourcing for new test and learn opportunities in paid, owned and earned media channels.

Each day in Consumables Marketing is focused on creating the best customer experience for our shoppers by creating strong merchandising and traffic driving marketing programs, partnering with category stakeholders to deliver their vision.
About the team
The Consumables Marketing, Insights and Innovation team collaborates with retail and central teams to develop marketing strategies and plans that establish Amazon as the preferred shopping destination all things Beauty, Grocery, Baby, Pet and Health & Personal Care.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches
- Bachelor's degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
- Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
