Job description

We are seeking motivated, hard-working Skilled Construction Workers to join our construction and maintenance teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing a variety of tasks ranging from complex construction and maintenance tasks to basic repairs, to ensure the successful completion of our construction projects and the smooth operation of our rental properties. This position works within a team as well as independently and must possess the necessary skills and knowledge to complete assigned tasks. Owning your own legal business entity (LLC or C/S-Corp) is a plus.
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform construction, maintenance, and repair work
  • Complete wood and metal stud framing for residential construction projects
  • Carpentry work, including framing and installation of doors and windows
  • Install and repair electrical and plumbing systems
  • Hang, float mud, tape, and sand drywall
  • Install all types of flooring, including carpet
  • Tile bathroom surrounds and kitchen backsplash
  • Install finishes and appliances - faucets, switches, light fixtures, etc.
  • Set up and breakdown of work areas
  • Complete supply runs to make regular puchases/pickups; load and unload materials
  • Follow established safety rules and regulations
  • Maintain a clean work area and accurate supplies inventory
  • Perform general clean-up and other assigned duties
    Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Skilled Construction Worker or related position
  • Proficient in using various hand and power tools
  • Knowledge of construction and maintenance methods, materials, techniques and safety protocols
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work in all weather
  • Valid driver's license and reliable truck or van
  • Must be drug-free


Job Type: Full-time or part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
