Position Overview
CP Engineers is seeking an experienced Construction Services Project Manager to support our growing Construction Services Group. This role will oversee active construction services projects, support field operations, coordinate project teams, and maintain strong client communication throughout project delivery. This position is primarily in-office and field-based due to the nature of construction services, with limited remote flexibility based on project demands, client needs, and operational requirements.
The ideal candidate will have strong construction management and operational leadership experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining schedule accountability, project controls, quality assurance, and client satisfaction. This position will play an important role in supporting CP's continued growth and successful project execution across a variety of infrastructure and construction markets.
Compensation: $110,000-$135,000
Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management & Operations: Manage day-to-day construction services projects, ensuring work remains on schedule, within budget, aligned with project controls requirements, and responsive to client expectations.
  • Team Coordination & Oversight: Coordinate and oversee project staff, field inspection personnel, subcontractors, and client stakeholders to support efficient project execution and quality assurance.
  • Financial & Resource Management: Monitor project financial performance, staffing allocation, resource utilization, project variance, and profitability metrics while supporting corrective actions when necessary.
  • Client Relations & Business Development: Maintain client relationships and support business development efforts through responsive communication, operational support, and participation in proposals and opportunity development activities.
  • Operational Support & QA/QC: Support staff development, operational workflows, project controls compliance, mentoring, training, and QA/QC procedures and best practices.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in construction management, construction inspection, field operations, or related construction services roles
  • Experience managing complex construction projects involving contractor oversight, schedule management, budgeting, QA/QC coordination, and client communication
  • Strong understanding of construction administration, project controls, field documentation, operational workflows, and construction sequencing
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams, field personnel, subcontractors, clients, and external stakeholders across multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency with construction management and project tracking platforms such as Ajera, Procore, Microsoft Office Suite, and related operational systems
  • Experience supporting public infrastructure, utility, municipal, commercial, industrial, or federal construction projects preferred
  • Experience with project financial management, including budgets, utilization, WIP, A/R, variance, and profitability tracking preferred
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license and/or construction management certifications preferred
