Construction Project Coordinators & Assistant Project Managers


Overview:


We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Construction Project Coordinators and Assistant Project Managers to support our Project Management Team in the delivery of ground-up residential, hospitality, and commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

These roles support project leadership by coordinating documentation, tracking costs, assisting with scheduling, managing project communication, and maintaining accurate reporting throughout all phases of construction.

Candidates should have 2–8 years of construction experience and be looking to grow within a fast-paced general contracting environment. Whether in a coordinator or assistant project management capacity, these roles are essential in keeping projects organized, on schedule, and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers and Project Executives with daily project coordination
  • Assist with scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and project planning
  • Track budgets, commitments, change orders, invoices, and job cost information
  • Maintain RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and document control logs
  • Coordinate communication between field teams, subcontractors, consultants, and ownership
  • Support project meetings, meeting minutes, and action item tracking
  • Assist with procurement, buyout tracking, and subcontractor coordination
  • Assist with bid packaging, including assembling bid documents, drawings, specifications, and scope sheets for solicitation to subcontractors
  • Perform scope leveling and bid comparisons to ensure subcontractor proposals are complete, consistent, and aligned with project requirements
  • Support project closeout including punch lists, warranties, and turnover packages
  • Develop and maintain Smartsheet dashboards, workflows, reports, and project tracking systems to support project controls and reporting

Qualifications

Required

  • 2–8 years of construction experience (GC or Construction Management preferred)
  • Experience in ground-up residential, hospitality, or commercial construction
  • Strong understanding of construction workflows (scheduling, budgeting, RFIs, submittals, change orders)
  • Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
  • Hands-on experience with Smartsheet for dashboards, reporting, workflows, or project tracking

Preferred

  • Sage 300 Construction & Real Estate (Timberline)
  • Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bluebeam, Textura, SharePoint, OneDrive, Raken
  • Experience with project controls, cost tracking, or construction accounting support
  • Exposure to large-scale residential, hospitality, or commercial ground-up projects
