Project Manager

The Project Manager ensures Trunk Bay’s construction projects run efficiently and

profitably. They coordinate suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to deliver an

exceptional building experience for the client. The Project Manager functions as the

first point-of-contact for our customers and trade partners regarding construction

operations. They coordinate with office management and the design team while

providing direct and detailed oversight of project schedules, budgets, quality of

work, and warranty service.


Position Type and Compensation:

 Full Time, 40-45 hours, Monday through Friday

 Base Salary $70,000 - $95,000

 Additional financial incentives program based on project performance

 Flexible schedule

What We’re Looking For:

 A true project leader, exhibiting an ownership mentality and professionalism

in how they relate to our clients and trade partner team

 Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and follow through

 Experience in construction management and project coordination desired.

 Field experience is preferred, with the ability to handle power tools, lift 50-75

lbs., work with their hands, and be on their feet daily

 Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, job-costing, etc

 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with ability to learn software

 Self-motivated and able to analyze and problem-solve independently

 Ability to wear multiple hats and “own it” as a member of a small team

managing multiple projects. Committed to confidentiality, accuracy, and

follow-through.

Positional Key Responsibilities

Project Management

 Document site visits 3-4 times weekly via daily logs

 Generate and distribute weekly client update

 Manage construction schedule for remodel and new construction projects

 Manage client / vendor selection schedule

 Track and complete construction tasks via software

 Review quality of work and hold subcontractors accountable to specifications

 Schedule and lead site walkthroughs with clients and trade partners

 Coordinate with utility companies, municipalities, and other code officials

 Thoroughly review and punch out project prior to final walkthrough

 Maintain a clean and organized jobsite throughout construction


Financial Management – Project Level

 Meet weekly with Office Manager to review open bills

 Assign bills accurately to their respective projects and cost codes

 Assist office staff with processing monthly construction draws and budget

review

 Review subcontractor Purchase Orders and ensure scope of work remains

accurate

 Generate and track change orders


Warranty Item Coordination

 Diagnose and produce plan of action for open warranty items
