JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage our projects in the Renewable Energy sector, particularly utility scale solar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with a proven track record of successfully executing complex projects on time and within budget. As a Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for coordinating all site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining effective communication between stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Full-time travel position to various project sites.
  • Manage day-to-day operations on the construction site, ensuring that work is performed efficiently and meets project specifications.
  • Develop and maintain owner, service, and vendor relationships. Act as the primary point of contact between the company, clients, and other stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project status, progress, and any issues or concerns.
  • Supervise and direct on-site personnel, including operators, laborers, subcontractors and vendors. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and compliance with company standards.
  • Enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct regular safety inspections and address any potential hazards promptly.
  • Monitor work quality and adherence to project plans and specifications. Implement corrective actions as needed to address deficiencies.
  • Maintain and ensure consistent and accurate field reporting including daily reports, extra work orders, safety logs, and incident reports. Be able to identify and track additional work beyond scope.
  • Inspect all equipment onsite daily and report to management with needed repairs.
  • Track project quantities for scheduling, record keeping and billing in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, with a focus on renewable energy, heavy civil, or electrical projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, OSHA) are a plus.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders. Conduct self in a way that represents the company in a safe and professional manner.
  • Ability to work 8-12 hours a day, 5-6 days a week.
