The role supports the onsite Project Manager by identifying and documenting safety and quality findings and driving corrective actions to deliver a high-quality project on schedule.

  • Verification of First of a Kind / Benchmark Installations and ensure lessons learned are applied to subsequent work.
  • Conduct regular quality audits to ensure adherence to project specifications and requirements.
  • Inspect materials, equipment, and construction techniques to verify compliance with quality benchmarks.
  • Conduct QAQC Tag Inspections in coordination with General Contractor for each phase of the quality and commissioning program.
  • Document findings and provide clear, actionable recommendations for improvement in collaboration with the PM.
  • Deliver detailed site observation reports, audit findings, and lessons learned.
  • Identify, document, and report non-conformances, defects, or deviations from contract requirements; collaborate data driven action plans with the NTT Project Manager/Design Manager, GC superintendents, and subcontractors to implement timely corrective and preventive actions.
  • Review (or recommend approval/rejection of) GC-submitted materials, shop drawings, method statements, and mock-ups related to quality aspects.
  • Monitor quality program metrics to evaluate the project's performance. Analyze said metrics to understand the root cause of any disconcerting trends and then work with the applicable parties to correct those items.
  • Attend required construction meetings such as the weekly project and monthly global QA/QC meeting, and daily start-up and commissioning meetings and EHS meetings.
  • Maintain detailed daily/weekly quality logs, inspection reports, photo documentation, punch-list items and non-conformance reports to support project records and closeout documentation.
  • Assist in reviewing project-specific quality plans, checklists, and procedures in coordination with the Project Manager.
  • Participate in pre-activity meetings, progress meetings, and coordination with design teams, owners, or regulatory inspectors regarding quality/schedule matters as agreed/delegated by the Project Manager.
