The Project: Maintains daily owner-side field presence across all active work fronts, providing independent progress measurement, quality control oversight, NCR tracking, and pre-commissioning readiness confirmation.

You'll Be Responsible For :ย 

  • Works as part of the Senior Construction Delivery Team, taking direction from Construction Lead and Project senior leadership team (SLT), providing guidance to wider team.

  • Promotes and drives the businesses priorities through Construction to Production, Digital & Data and responsible business.

  • Understands and formulates short-term plans to deliver to Programme, able to communicate with and coordinate Trade/Sub Contractors. Owns Safety, Wellbeing and Quality deliverables for specific sections of the Project.

  • Contributes to establishing and maintaining Health, Safety and Wellbeing culture onsite.

  • Supports Managers in leading focussed forecast Lookahead meetings, providing authority and guidance where required.

  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with Client and Design CMT, knowing QA process to final sign-off.

  • Provides comprehensive technical expertise and understanding of Mace onsite Standards for each part of the Project, where to find them, and responsible for implementation.

  • Identifies and implements continuous improvement and plans, identifies key business improvements.

  • Develops and maintain a series of both internal and external relationships.ย 

  • Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You'll need to haveย 

  • Detailed knowledge of construction methodologies, processes, and inherent site safety.

  • Strong understanding of digital platforms and their onsite implementation.

  • Ability to bring an experienced perspective to site operations and drive innovation.

  • Proven experience in a site-based managerial role within construction projects (or equivalent experience).

  • Completed a construction-related apprenticeship, demonstrating practical onsite knowledge (or equivalent).

  • Holds a relevant technical qualification such as NVQ, HNC, or similar, with solid understanding of construction practices (or equivalent).

  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience), with a solid understanding of site operations and project delivery.
