Position identifies and escalates potential non-complaint items for resolution and develops relationships with the field personnel to ensure compliance.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Responsible for the observation of utility installations across railroad propertyPerform on-site observation of trenchless construction within railroad right-of-way providing support for third-party on and around live railroad tracksResponsible for documentation of pre- and post-construction site conditions, verification of materials and layout, observation and documentation of construction activities and maintain an active dialog with on and off-site personnelDocument work in accordance to approved plansAttend both railroad (flagger) and contractor daily job briefings and discuss project requirementsAttend monthly training callsSubmit time and expensesSubmit daily inspection reports using a tablet that accurately depict what occurred on the work progress, adherence to the railroad utility agreementEscalate items of non-compliance to management/engineers for reviewUp to 100% travelContribute to a positive, inclusive, and respectful workplace culture, free from behaviors that undermine morale, productivity, or organizational valuesUphold the organizationโ€™s standards of integrity, accountability, and respect in all duties and interactionsAdhere to all company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulationOther duties as assigned or required to meet the business needsKnowledge Skills and Abilities:Knowledge of AREMA standardsKnowledge of general construction practicesProficiency with electronic communications including email and textRequired Education and Experience:High School Diploma or Equivalent3 - 5 years of railroad or utility experienceAdditional Qualifications, Certifications, etc.:Valid driverโ€™s license is requiredAbility to rent and operate a rental car through RailPros approved vendorsWhy RailPros?
