Job description

The Litigation Paralegal supports attorneys across a wide range of litigation and employee benefits matters, with a focus on complex issues that often arise in corporate and construction-related disputes. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, handling detailed documentation, and assisting with matters that require strong organization, discretion, and follow-through.

Experience in the following areas is preferred:

  • Construction-related client matters.

  • Complex liability and ownership issues involving multiple business entities.

  • Withdrawal and contribution disputes.

  • Bankruptcy-related issues that overlap with employee benefits or collection matters.

  • Timeliness and enforcement-related defenses.

  • Recovery of delinquent contributions from active employers.

  • Matter support involving highly technical or regulated subject matter.

This role requires someone who can work closely with attorneys, manage sensitive information, and help move matters forward efficiently. A strong candidate will be detail-oriented, responsive, and able to handle a mix of litigation support tasks and issue-specific research or document preparation.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: High school or equivalent.

  • Five (5) or more years of experience working as a Paralegal in a related area of law

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, with the ability to create, edit, and format complex documents and spreadsheets.

  • Strong proficiency in Docusign and Adobe.
