When you join our team, you earn your edge every day, and we make sure it pays off Summary The Foreman Development Coach builds strong field leaders by developing foremen who can consistently manage labor, schedule, cost, safety, and field execution

This role combines classroom training, hands-on field coaching, mentorship leadership, and development program management to create a scalable system for growing high-performing foremen across the company. The focus is on real-time coaching, accountability, and continuous improvement in the field. Core Responsibilities Create and manage foreman performance scorecards using measurable field and jobsite metrics.

Enhance and evolve the HY Foreman System with a focus on planning, labor management, safety, communication, accountability, and execution. Travel statewide to jobsites to provide real-time coaching and reinforce field performance standards. Develop foreman leadership, decision-making, crew oversight, and project execution through hands-on field coaching.

Proactively identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions before project impacts occur. Standardize planning, labor tracking, crew coordination, and execution processes across all jobsites. Drive accountability by maintaining consistent performance expectations and execution standards for foremen.

Create individualized development plans and identify high-potential employees to strengthen the future foreman pipeline. Lead and continuously refine a statewide mentorship and foreman development initiative. Leverage field data and performance trends to shape coaching, training, and development strategies.

Design scalable training programs, career development pathways, and progression frameworks for foremen across all HY regions. Skills and Knowledge: Proven experience running crews and controlling field operations. Deep understanding of labor productivity and job cost.

Ability to read job performance and identify issues quickly. Strong conflict management and direct communication skills. Ability to coach experienced, strong personalities.

Data-driven decision making. High accountability and ownership mindset. Willingness to be in the field consistently (not office-based).
