    The Restoration Construction Superintendent reports to the Structure Project Manager. The Superintendent sets and manages client expectations, manages all subcontractors and vendors according to the project schedule, and oversees material delivery. The Superintendent develops and maintains successful relationships with the project team, subcontractors, and homeowners. The Superintendent must verify that the quality of each phase of finished work exceeds company standards and homeowner expectations. The Superintendent coordinates with all project personnel to provide a safe jobsite per OSHA requirements and according to Apex Restoration DKI policy and procedures. The Superintendent maintains and posts all documentation in accordance with company policies. The Superintendent must communicate with project team and homeowners by phone and email daily.

    Accountabilities:


    • Detail-oriented and follow through to completion of a project

    • Project management experience, preferably in all areas of residential construction

    • Excellent skills in verbal/written communication, teamwork, accuracy, conflict resolution, cost management and time management

    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously

    • Basic computer skills

    • Foster positive relationships with team members, clients, subcontractors and vendors

    • Complete weekly vehicle inspection and maintain vehicle cleanliness

    • May work 40+ hours per week

    • May be on call during catastrophic events

    • Perform other responsibilities as required

    Required Qualifications:


    • Previous construction experience preferred, but will train the right candidate

    • Experience with PSA, XactAnalysis, and Xactimate a plus

    • Level 1 certification in Xactimate or willingness to obtain

    • Maintain professional appearance at all times

    • Ability to enter confined spaces, climb on roofs, and lift up to 75 lbs

    • Valid Driver's License & eligibility to work in the United States

    • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

    • No felony convictions

    Compensation:


    • Salary $45k - $55k, depending on experience

    • Eligible for commission plan after 90 days and favorable review, possible earnings of 50% to 100% of your base salary
