We provide full-service planning, design and construction management services on everything from roadways and bridges to airports, stormwater infrastructure, and parks/recreation projects primarily for state and local agencies and municipalities.   

WHO YOU ARE

  • You studied engineering. You have a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management and have at least five years of construction experience.   
  • You know transportation. Familiarity with IDOT procedures and have a current IDOT Documentation of Contract Quantities certification. You also possess an understanding of construction inspection practices. Paving experience is a plus.  
  • You're a people person with the ability to interface and collaborate effectively with clients, employees, and the management team. Your strong organization and communication skills will contribute to your success.  
  • You're proficient with business and engineering applications such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.   

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • You'll assist on construction projects. You'll provide inspection for various construction projects, and assist with maintaining project documentation, including calculations, daily reports, project filing, etc.  
  • You'll work under a Lead Engineer. You'll perform work involving the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria under supervision. Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives. 
  • You'll connect with people. It's critical to the work we do. You'll interface directly with clients, consultants, subconsultants, and contractors.   
  • You'll enjoy what you do. You'll work with great people, continue to learn and grow, and have a good time doing it.
