New Business Development Manager (Automotive MRO Solutions)

[Job Summary]

The New Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving growth in MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) solutions within the automotive sector. This role will focus on prospecting and developing new client relationships with OEMs, Tier-1, and Tier-2 suppliers, positioning SVO as a strategic partner for smart factory transformation, EV transition, and optimized MRO supply chains.

[Job Description]

- Identify and prospect new business opportunities in the automotive industry, with a focus on MRO solutions.

- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand SVO's footprint in OEMs and Tier-1/Tier-2 suppliers.

- Promote SVO's differentiated offerings, including:

o MRO product catalog and sourcing solutions.

o Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) and consignment services.

o Idle asset and harvesting programs.

o Specialized MRO support for EV and smart factory transitions.

- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with decision makers in procurement, operations, and plant management.

- Conduct market research to identify client pain points and develop tailored MRO service proposals.

- Lead contract negotiations and close deals to achieve revenue and growth targets.

- Collaborate with internal teams (strategy, operations, supply chain, finance) to ensure smooth solution delivery.

- Report pipeline progress and provide business insights to senior management.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.

- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, with strong exposure to automotive and/or MRO industries.

- Proven track record of winning new clients and growing revenue.

- Deep understanding of automotive procurement processes and MRO supply chains.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Ability to work independently, manage multiple opportunities, and meet ambitious targets.

- Proficiency in English (Korean language proficiency a plus).

Preferred Qualifications

- Established network with automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.

- Experience selling MRO products/services, warehouse/consignment programs, or industrial solutions.
