Job description

The Center for Psychedelic and Consciousness Research is seeking a Research Data Analyst (RDA) to provide data analysis and related activities for various types of research projects and studies. This position will contribute to ongoing development, maintenance, and use of a research data pipeline that collects and analyzes data. The RDA will be responsible for processing, backup/storage, sharing, and overall stewardship of multi-modal data sources. These sources include questionnaire data, electrophysiological recordings, social and wearable sensor data, and biospecimens. The RDA will coordinate with study staff to collect and manage data, senior staff to manage data stewardship, scientific trainees and faculty for reporting and data analysis, and both internal and external repositories and stakeholders for data transfer and sharing.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
  • Collect data and generate reports and models.
  • Run models, analyze model results, and prepare reports on the analysis.
  • Conduct analyses in support of the assigned research project or study.
  • Conduct statistical analyses utilizing standard and statistical software packages.
  • Design and prepare tables to illustrate analytic findings.
  • Manage or contribute to entry of data in the assigned database.
  • May engage in other research related responsibilities.
  • Experience with linux system administration preferred.
  • Experience with timeseries analysis preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in R statistical programming.
  • Perform other related duties as requested.
