Position: Gynecologic OncologistLocation: Tyler, Texas (92 miles from Dallas)Employment Type: Permanent - Full TimePosition Overview:
  • Faculty appointment with active involvement in resident education
  • Practice within an academic medical environment
  • Balanced inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
  • Typical Schedule:
    • 2-3 days outpatient clinic
    • 2-3 days OR
    • Opportunity to oversee chemotherapy clinic
  • Collaborative call structure shared among specialties (flexible with physician input)
Clinical Resources & Support:
  • Access to da Vinci robotic surgical system
  • Research collaboration opportunities through GOG and MD Anderson clinical trials
  • Multiple APPs dedicated to oncology services
  • Collaboration with OB/GYN faculty, OB/GYN hospitalists, medical oncologists, and urogynecologists
  • Outreach and collaboration with rural clinics throughout East Texas
