Job description

Position Summary
The Project Coordinator is responsible for managing the execution of project closure processes, ensuring adherence to best practices, and supporting project management ceremonies. The role involves working closely with internal teams, clients, and leadership to ensure seamless project completion and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze project workflows to uncover inefficiencies, gaps, and areas for improvement.
  • Surface risks, budget variances, and scope issues that require escalation.
  • Define key deliverables and documentation standards across project phases.
  • Capture lessons learned and apply best practices to enhance future execution.
  • Support alignment of practices with River Run's EOS and FIPPERD frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain standardized documentation, scorecards, and checklists.
  • Create and refine closure and retrospective templates for consistent wrap-up.
  • Generate reports to monitor project metrics, risks, and progress against deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with closure protocols and documentation requirements.
  • Validate adherence to internal standards and operational frameworks.
  • Review deliverables for quality control and alignment with project objectives.

Required Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; and four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5+ years' experience in IT project coordination, preferably in a Managed Services environment.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of project tracking, resource coordination, and closure processes.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
  • Experience with ConnectWise
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and IT service management frameworks is preferred.
