Congressional Assistants, often called legislative assistants or aides, support members of the U.S. Congress in their daily duties. They help with legislative research, draft bills, communicate with constituents, and manage schedules and correspondence. Their work enables Congress members to stay informed on policy issues and effectively serve their districts. Congressional Assistants may also attend meetings, write reports, and coordinate with other government agencies or stakeholders.
