Job description

Enterprise Configuration Manager

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Configuration Management (CM) professional to support a high visibility Navy Mission oriented program. The CM specialist will implement and maintain program Configuration Management Plans (CMPs), control baselines, manage documentation and software repositories, and facilitate Navystandard change management processes. The ideal candidate combines strong technical acumen with disciplined CM rigor and can operate confidently in a Navy acquisition environment. You will work without considerable direction, mentor, and may supervise team members.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in Configuration Management

  • Ability to manage CM across hardware and software domains in accordance with formal Navy technical documentation standards

  • Ability to develop CM plans, SOPs, and documentation templates

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience facilitating or supporting Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), preparing ECPs, and changing documentation in line with Navy CM procedures

  • Experience in systems engineering or Model Based System Engineering

  • Experience facilitating System Engineering Technical Reviews

  • Experience with DoD acquisition lifecycle, including system or subsystem baseline development

  • Experience with CM tools such as Confluence or JIRA and with Dimensions CM

  • Knowledge of Department of War or Navy configuration management policy, lifecycle logistics, baseline management, or configuration audits

  • Possession of excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills

  • Possession of excellent analytical skills for interpreting technical data

  • CMII, PMP, and ITIL Certifications

  • DAWIA Level II or III Configuration Management Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
