Job Title: Configuration Data/Doc Control C

Job Schedule: 1st Shift M-F

Job Description:

 

Configuration Management provides configuration and data management support to their assigned program(s). For this position, Configuration Management will be performing as a Designated Transfer Agent (DTA) supporting program management, project engineering, and other engineering functions.  The DTA will perform detailed article transfer between networks, run automated review tools, burn optical media, perform scans of removeable media, and document detailed forms and logs. Member will be required to interface with all departments supporting the program.

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • Review and approve/reject all program documentation and articles against established standards, coordinate with the organization's security for new or changing requirements, and integrate with program teams to coordinate transfers
  • Act as a point of contact to ensure content creators follow data identification, marking, review and release procedures
  • Enforce the protection of intellectual property
  • Run automated review tools and virus scans
  • Burn optical media
  • Fill out detailed forms and logs
  • Must be able to obtain successful program read-in as a job requirement.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with six (6) years of prior Configuration Management and/or Data management experience.
  • 2 years post-secondary/associate's degree with two (2) years of prior Configuration Management and/or Data management experience.
  • Must have an active DoW Secret Clearance at the time of hire.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

 

  • Familiarity with data marking, formatting, and handling of documentation.
  • 1-2 years of Siemens Teamcenter Product Lifecycle Management tool or equivalent experience.
  • Clear and concise oral and written communication.
  • Effective organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented self-starter.
  • Ability to multi-task and set priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail.
