Job description

Job Title: Configuration, Change, and Release Management Specialist Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Configuration and Change Management Specialist to support a 5-year contract with the federal government. Responsibilities: Configuration and Change Management : Responsible for the transition of packages/projects/changes into a Request for Change (RFC) submitted to the Technical Review Board (TRB) for technical design and the Configuration Advisory Board (CAB) for approval and scheduling before proposed changes to the production environment are enacted and will become part of the Enterprise baseline. Prepare RFC packages IAW change management TTPs and ensure that RFCs are submitted, compliant, vetted, and approved for an ASI and visible through the existing SharePoint portal repository for tracking and managing RFCs. These projects/changes shall be maintained and updated on the Integrated Master Schedule in coordination with Service Design. Provide engineering support for the development of new Services pursuant to obtaining business approval from the Configuration Control Board (CCB). Support to the CCB will be limited to development of "rough order of magnitude " quantification of costs and levels of effort for possible solutions to meet requirements being approved by the CCB. * Develop Service Design Packages * Develop and configure a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Asset Management Database (AMDB) . Release and Deployment Management: Manage and support deployment releases into the live environment in a controlled manner to maintain and protect the integrity of the live environments, verify the correct components are released, and minimize mission disruption for users and organizations. * Establish a Release and Deployment Framework . Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) or equivalent work experience. * At least 5 years of proven experience as a Configuration / Change / Release Manager * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail. * Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build positive relationships with subject matter experts and stakeholders. * Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Security Clearance: DoD Secret Clearance - NIPRNet, SIPRNet
