Description

Concept Solutions is seeking a Sr. Configuration Manager to collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage modern tools like ServiceNow, and make a measurable impact in a high-visibility environment for the FAA's ITIPSS I&O program. This position is responsible play a critical part in supporting enterprise-level IT change and configuration management for a federal customer-ensuring stability, efficiency, and continuous improvement across systems.


Change & Configuration Management

  • Lead and support enterprise IT change and configuration management activities
  • Process and manage change requests using ServiceNow and SharePoint (KSN forms)
  • Guide change requests through established governance and approval workflows
  • Partner with federal leadership to support and enhance automated change management tools

Process Improvement & Documentation

  • Identify gaps in current processes and recommend practical, scalable improvements
  • Maintain accurate data, reporting, and documentation for all change activities
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Incident Management & Support

  • Monitor and resolve incidents through ticket queues, ensuring timely resolution


Requirements

Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or a related field with 8+ years of experience, OR

10+ years of relevant Change Management experience


Required Technical Skills & Competencies

  • Experience with IT Change and Configuration Management processes
  • Strong ability to analyze workflows and improve processes
  • Proven experience working with ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred)
  • Excellent organizational skills with a focus on data accuracy and tracking
  • Strong written communication skills, including documentation and reporting
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams
  • Self-starter who takes ownership and drives results

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments (35,000+ users)
  • Familiarity working with federal or government clients
  • Experience collaborating across multiple stakeholder groups


Work Location and Schedule

Primary Location: Washington, DC

Schedule: Monday through Friday, core hours 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM local time

Telework may be permitted when determined to be in the best interest of the Government

FAA Personnel Suitability clearance required (AMS 3.14-2)
