Everforth ECS is seeking a Configuration Manager - Senior to work in Fairfax, Virginia. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.
Position Summary
ECS is seeking a Configuration Manager - Senior to support the ARNG ENOCS program. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining robust configuration management processes for enterprise applications and supporting infrastructure. This position involves managing configuration baselines, overseeing change requests, and ensuring compliance with Government configuration control board procedures. The Configuration Manager will be integral to ensuring that all configuration items are properly documented, approved, and implemented, thereby contributing to the overall mission success of the ARNG ENOCS program.
Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive configuration management processes for enterprise applications and infrastructure.
  • Control and manage configuration baselines to ensure system integrity and compliance.
  • Oversee and process change requests, ensuring alignment with Government configuration control board procedures.
  • Track and document version history to maintain accurate configuration records throughout the system lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with development, testing, and operations teams to ensure proper documentation and implementation of configuration items.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams to support configuration management objectives.
  • Implement and monitor processes to maintain the integrity and security of configuration items.

Required Qualifications
  • Clearance: Secret Eligible required
  • S. Citizenship required
  • DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 632-Systems Developer at the Intermediate proficiency level
  • Certifications (one or more required): CSSLP, GCLD, GSEC
  • Education: Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in configuration management or systems engineering within DoD or Federal IT environments.
  • Proven experience in establishing and maintaining configuration management processes for enterprise applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and control configuration baselines and change requests.
  • Experience in coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with configuration control procedures.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture standards and cybersecurity compliance requirements.
