Job description

About Donorbox

Donorbox is a leading fundraising platform and donor management system for nonprofit organizations. Our mission is to accelerate positive impact worldwide by helping nonprofits become highly effective at raising funds and managing their supporter base. Since 2014, we have powered more than 100,000 global organizations to raise over $3B in donations.

Our fast-growing company is profitable and bootstrapped with a healthy run rate. We have a fully distributed and diverse 150-person team based in 16+ states and 23+ countries. In 2026, Donorbox was named by Built In as one of the Best Places to Work in Washington, DC.

Donorbox is rated the #1 software for fundraising, donor management, and nonprofit payment on G2 based on hundreds of verified customer reviews - a reflection of the care our team puts into building products that nonprofits trust.

The Role

Donorbox is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Event Marketing Manager to join our Growth & Marketing team. This high-impact role will manage Donorbox's in-person event participation, helping deepen relationships within the nonprofit community and deliver a seamless attendee and staff experience.

This role owns logistics and execution across a growing portfolio of 20+ industry conferences, sponsored events, networking and community gatherings, and internal company events (offsites, team meetings & gatherings) annually. These events bring together the global nonprofit and social impact community, with a primary focus on the United States, followed by Canada and Europe.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing complex conference and event operations from start to finish, and can confidently own multiple workstreams simultaneously with minimal oversight. This role will also own the event budgeting process, including budget creation, expense tracking, vendor spend management, and post-event reconciliation/reporting. The Event Marketing Manager will share creative ideas for strategically engaging audiences to make a lasting impression. Building brand awareness is a core objective for this role, but as a B2B SaaS platform, it is equally essential to drive measurable results through lead generation, customer acquisition, and account renewals.

  • Come up with creative, data-backed attendee experience and engagement concepts, sponsorship opportunity recommendations, and brand representation ideas that attract visitors, spark conversations, and keep Donorbox top of mind post-event
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Creative, Partnerships, Sales, and Operations teams to support event goals and company initiatives
  • Report on post-event ROI, results, and insights using surveys, dashboards, and CRM data, partnering with RevOps, Accounting, and Data teams as needed
  • Develop and improve event SOPs, systems, and operational processes to support a growing event program and growing team
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience in event coordination, conference & tradeshow operations, field marketing, experiential marketing, or a related role
