Job description

Position: Conference Service & Events Coordinator (Global Law Firm)

Location: Washington, D.C.

Company: Global AM100 Law Firm

Comp Package: Base salary to $70K, Paid Overtime, Full Benefits, Tuition Reimbursement, Bonus, 401K+, etc.


Responsibilities for Guest Services/Conference Service Coordinator:

  • Reserve conference rooms and spaces and coordinate all associated services (i.e, food/beverage, facilities, signage, materials, security, floorplans and secretarial services)
  • Greet clients and visitors; respond to phone calls; transmit messages accurately and promptly
  • Efficiently handle numerous phone calls and emails with new booking requests and changes
  • Maintain calendars and schedule appointments, meetings and conference calls
  • Act as a liaise with building management, Office Services, Records, Accounting, and IT department
  • Assist with directing clients to the training/beakout rooms, pantry areas, the Conference Center, Business Center, Cafeteria, phone booths, their hotel or area restaurants, etc.
  • Answer client questions concerning conference space, set-up, and Conference Center capabilities

Qualifications for Guest Services/Conference Service Coordinator:

  • 6+ months of prior reception or conference service experience in a law firm or hospitality environment is required
  • Communicate with all levels of employees across all offices and multitask well
  • Possess excellent customer service skills and demonstrate professional telephone etiquette and excellent verbal and written communication skills
