THE ROLE

We are seeking a Conference Sales Manager to join our team.

This role is instrumental in delivering a seamless, high-touch experience for corporate meetings, conferences, and group events. The Conference Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue through the sale of meeting spaces, audiovisual services, and food and beverage offerings, ensuring every detail is executed with precision and excellence.

This position focuses on generating new business, cultivating client relationships, managing booking pace, and securing repeat conference and group programs, all while maintaining exceptional service standards.

WHAT YOU WILL ROCK

In this role, you will drive conference and meeting sales by developing new business within corporate, association, and group markets through strategic prospecting, outreach, and site inspections, while managing the full sales cycle from initial inquiry through contract execution and seamless event handoff. You will maximize hotel revenue by identifying upselling opportunities across meeting packages, audiovisual services, and catering, and will work closely with internal departments to ensure all conference requirements-including room setups, breakout sessions, technology, and food and beverage-are executed flawlessly. As a key point of contact for clients, you will guide them through the planning process, attend BEO and resume meetings, and ensure clear, consistent communication across all teams. You will also welcome and engage with clients on-site, reviewing event flow and introducing operational leaders to deliver a polished and personalized experience, including availability outside of standard business hours when needed. In addition, you will prepare monthly 90-day forecasts, contribute to the annual budget and sales strategy, and stay informed on market trends and competitive activity to identify new opportunities. Partnering with culinary and banquet teams, you will help curate exceptional conference offerings, while managing client requests and concerns with professionalism and urgency to ensure satisfaction at every stage. Through every interaction, you will build strong relationships that drive repeat business and reinforce loyalty to the Hard Rock brand, all while maintaining a sharp focus on organization, attention to detail, and elevated service standards.
