Job description

Conference/Member Event Coordinator
Posting Summary
Provide administrative and logistical support for the planning, promotion, and execution of Teaching Academy member events, faculty development programs, and educational research grant initiatives, ensuring effective coordination, communication, and program delivery. Develop and oversee budgets for each event. Provide oversight, coordination and support of CMIE application and follow-up reporting process for events/programs. Ensure compliance with specialized CME new program accreditation requirements. Coordinate activities related to Teaching Academy outreach, membership selection, and membership renewal.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Associate's degree in a related field and two years related administrative or conference/event experience required.
Working knowledge of software applications used to support office functions and familiarity with Internet resources required. Effective verbal, written (especially spelling and grammatical), and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must exercise judgment in resolving problems.
Desirable Qualifications
Marketing knowledge and experience desirable. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Qualtrics, and web applications are desirable
Anticipated Pay Range
$24/hour - $27.50/hour
Other Information
A 120-day probationary period is required.
Special Conditions
A probationary period may be required, Travel to and from worksites required, This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule with an option to split time between campus and elsewhere, in accordance with the university telecommuting policy, Background Check required for this position
