Description: The Digital Landscape Specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating, and continuously improving the Association's digital landscape while representing the values of the Association and upholding the ideals of the Eden Alternative model. The position oversees technology vendors, technology projects, digital systems, compliance and transparency activities, and organizational technology planning while providing technical support to staff and residents. The position serves as the primary liaison between Clairmont Place and its technology service providers while ensuring that technology investments support the Association's strategic goals and operational needs.
Hours: 9am-5pm, Mon-Fri. Full Time.
Requirements:
- CompTIA A+ Certification
- 3+ years of IT support experience in an environment with non-technical users
- Experience managing relationships with technology vendors and service providers
- Project management experience with multiple, competing stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills to maintain up-to-date documents for compliance purposes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a retirement community, healthcare, hospitality, or condominium environment
- Experience with managing access control systems, VoIP phone systems, Wi-Fi networks, or property management software; and coordinating support with outside vendors
- Experience with compliance, records management, or public transparency requirements
- Experience managing audio, office, and network equipment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Represent the values and promote the culture of Clairmont Place, including enthusiastic adoption of the Eden Alternative model
- Support and educate residents and staff with IT help needs within the context of the IT Support Policy
- Adhere to the IT Support Policy, and refer residents to outside resources when appropriate
- Develop and maintain written policies, procedures, and documentation related to technology systems, cybersecurity, records management, and compliance activities.
- Manage the IT support request system, and do not take IT support requests outside of that system
- Manage time so as to provide deliverables in a timely manner and meet deadlines
- Serve as the primary point of contact for IT Support, Access Control, phone systems, Internet and Wifi, digital guest passes, Cubigo, and security system
- Lead long-term technology modernization initiatives
- Manage relationships with other departments and technology vendors
- Negotiate technology contracts and renewals
- Procure and manage office and IT equipment for all departments
- Troubleshoot the in-house channel
- Manage and troubleshoot all audio equipment
- Understand the legal requirements for GA Senate Bill 406 for compliance and transparency
- Maintain a collection of up-to-date documents to reply to compliance requests in a timely manner
- Advise Directors on the documents to be collected for compliance and transparency
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all Compliance and Transparency requests
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
