Part-Time Custodial Apartment Facilities Maintenance – Atlanta, GA

Location: Atlanta, Georgia 30339
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday Mornings (10:00 AM - 1:00 PM)
Hours: Approximately 3 hours per shift
Compensation: $1,000 per month 
Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our 2 person team as Part-Time Custodial Apartment Facilities Maintenance at our Atlanta, GA 30339 location. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment within some local condominiums.
The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is dependable, and able to work independently after business hours.
Apartment Community Grounds & Facilities Maintenance Responsibilities
  • Blow down all common areas using a gas blower.
  • Blow out breezeways and stairwells.
  • Remove cobwebs from:
    • Ceilings
    • Corners
    • Light fixtures
    • Stair railings
  • Wipe down all handrails, banisters, spindles, and stair risers.
  • Wipe down all fire extinguisher boxes.
  • Clean Building grill:
    • Brush and clean grates.
    • Remove food and grease residue.
    • Wipe down exterior surfaces.
Exterior & Community Grounds
  • Operate the trash compactor 4 times.
  • Pick up trash around the pool and pool/grill area.
  • Replace black trash bags around the pool and pool/grill area.
  • Empty the reusable car vacuum cloth bag/tray.
  • Replace black trash bags in the two trash cans located:
    • By the car vacuum
    • By the mailbox
  • Replace clear trash bags in all 9 dog stations.
  • Refill dog waste bags in any empty dog stations.
  • Remove visible trash from high-traffic areas, including:
    • Parking lots
    • Front of buildings
    • Front shrubs
    • Car wash
    • Car vacuum
    • Walkways
    • Front gate area
Fitness Center / Gym
  • Wipe down and sanitize all gym equipment using gym wipes.
  • Disinfect gym bathroom toilet and sink.
  • Clean gym bathroom mirror as needed.
  • Refill supplies as needed:
    • Toilet paper
    • Paper napkins
    • Hand soap
    • Gym wipes
  • Replace trash bags in the gym and gym bathroom.
  • Vacuum gym floors.
  • Remove cobwebs from:
    • Ceilings
    • Light fixtures
    • Fans
    • Windowsills
  • Plug back in any equipment or items that were unplugged during cleaning.
Clubhouse 
  • Disinfect bathroom toilet and sink.
  • Clean bathroom mirror as needed.
  • Replace bathroom trash bag.
  • Replace lobby trash bag once per month.
  • Blow off exterior sidewalk and front entrance area.
  • Clean door glass and remove fingerprints.
  • Vacuum floors once per month.
  • Replace burned-out light bulbs.
Additional Duties – Once Primary Areas Are Complete
  • Clean fitness center/gym wall mirrors.
  • Clean inside windows.
  • Clean inside and outside glass around doors.
  • Clear the lower dumpster area of trash:
    • Inside the dumpster fence
    • Outside the dumpster fence
  • Wipe down:
    • 4 swings
    • 1 picnic table
    • 4 benches
  • Pick up trash and clean up tennis courts.
  • Wipe down bulletin board glass.
  • Wipe down mailboxes and parcel lockers.
  • Wipe down the gate callbox.
  • Pick up trash in less-trafficked areas, including:
    • Behind and around garages
    • Along fences
    • Behind buildings
General Expectations
  • Complete assigned cleaning and maintenance duties thoroughly and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable community environment.
  • Report damaged equipment, burned-out lights, or other maintenance concerns as needed.
  • Follow all community safety and cleaning procedures.

Requirements

  • Must be dependable and punctual
  • Must be able to work mornings after 10:00 AM
  • Prior cleaning or janitorial experience required
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to pass a background check
Compensation & Schedule

  • $1,000 per month 

  • 3 cleaning days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
  • Steady, long-term opportunity with consistent hours
