Job Description:
As a Common Area Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and hygiene of a local condominium building. You will focus on high-traffic common areas such as the lobby, hallways, elevators, and main entrances to ensure a welcoming environment for all residents and guests. This is a part-time morning position with the direct opportunity to transition into a permanent role.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean, sweep, mop, and vacuum lobbies, hallways, stairwells, and elevators

  • Empty trash cans and recyclables, ensuring proper disposal in dumpster areas

  • Sanitize high-touch surfaces, including door handles, elevator buttons, and handrails

  • Keep the main outdoor entrances, walkways, and glass doors clean and presentable

  • Restock cleaning supplies and maintain tidy supply closets

  • Follow safety guidelines and report any maintenance or repair needs to management


Requirements:

  • Previous experience in commercial janitorial, residential cleaning, or housekeeping preferred

  • Familiarity with basic cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently without close supervision

  • Excellent punctuality and daily attendance record
