About

The Fall Line is a premier private destination golf and sporting club located in Southwest Georgia. Our club offers state-of-the-art facilities, including two Ogilvy, Cocking and Mead–designed 18-hole golf courses, a 9-hole short course, and world-class facilities for shooting, hunting, and angling. In addition to our outstanding outdoor offerings, we pride ourselves on exceptional hospitality, with multiple dining and lodging options, all enhanced by our 25-acre farm that serves as the centerpiece of our 4,500-acre property.

Position Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and driven hospitality students from various universities for a seasonal internship supporting daily operations at the Fall Line. This role is ideal for students looking to gain practical, real-world experience in the private club and hospitality sector. Days will be long and overtime should be expected.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations (40%)

  • Assist with event setup and breakdown for member events
  • Support guest services and concierge-style hospitality
  • Coordinate with management to ensure smooth daily operations

Food & Beverage (40%)

  • Participate in service at club dining facilities, cottages, turn houses, and halfway house.
  • Learn back-of-house basics and food safety procedures
  • Gain hands-on experience in dining service and beverage preparation and serving

Management Shadowing (10%)

  • Shadow department subject matter experts
  • Participate in startup meetings
  • Learn about staffing, and tactical planning in a private club setting

Golf Operations (10%)

  • Support member check-ins
  • Learn the basics of golf course operations and tournament setup
  • Assist in maintaining a premium guest experience on and off the course

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in University’s Hospitality Management program
  • Strong interest in private clubs, event planning, F&B, or golf operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Availability to work weekends, evenings, and special events
  • Professional appearance and demeanor--sparkly
