Job description

As a Member Services Conciergeย your main objective will be to provide the highest level of service to our members, guests and program participants. Primary duties include responding to member and guest needs by providing knowledge and assistance with Brivo. Provide program informationย for all departments across the agency as needed. Shift hours will vary depending on schedule and agency needs during hours of operation.ย  Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday 4:45 am โ€“ 9:00 pm; Friday 4:45 am โ€“ 6:00 pm and Saturday โ€“ Sunday 6:45 am โ€“ 6:00 pm.ย ย ย Occasional evenings and weekends required for agency-wide events.ย 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Provide essential customer service to ensure member satisfaction and member appreciation. Greet all members and guest upon their arrival and departure from the building and ensure they follow proper check-in procedures.
  2. Maintain current knowledge about all programs, services and activities offered at the J in order to promote these services and assist members with inquiries of these areas.
  3. Serve as a liaison between members and staff by communicating member concerns to the proper supervisor.
  4. Provide members with assistance in getting their Brivo Credentialsย and ensuring that they are working properly.
  5. Able to use Traction Guest to have all guests sign in for meetings, tours, and other events that are taking place at the J.
  6. Validate guest passes and charge when needed.
  • Minimum 1-2ย yearsโ€™ experience in customer service preferred or in a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills; Ability to effectively interact professionally with all levels of internal and external personnel.
  • Able to work nights and weekends.
  • High energy, proactive, requiring little direction, takes responsibility.
  • Team oriented.
  • Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain an enthusiastic and professional demeanor while effectively and tactfully dealing with member and guest complaints and concerns.
  • A Willingness to perform job tasks not part of immediate job responsibilities but aides in member satisfaction and getting the job done.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).ย
