Position Summary

The Cook 1 is responsible for prep work and cooking hot food items in the Concession Stands according to product specifications. The position assists with set-up and dishes and responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitized workspace in accordance with company/state specifications. Must be able to maintain excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy. Work schedule includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays during the Iowa Cubs Baseball Season (March-September).This position requires work in all types of weather.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $17.00 and is tip eligible.

Benefits as per the union agreement.

This position will remain open until October 2, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Prepares food in quantities as directed by the Concessions Manager or immediate supervisor.
  • Compliant with health, sanitation, safety, and employment regulations in accordance with company standards.
  • Assist with set-up, clean-up, and close-out of the assigned concessions stand.
  • Ensure proper storage of food products.
  • Other duties as assigned supervisor or management.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Cook preferred.
  • Ability to read food orders, product labels, and menus.
  • Detail-oriented, able to multi-task and effectively prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and tight deadlines in a loud food production environment.
  • Maintain a positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers & guests.
  • Requires a flexible schedule including working days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
