Responsible for Preparing and Cleaning the Concessions, Documenting Inventory, and Stocking Concessions for the following Activities: Football, Basketball, Wrestling, Track, Soccer Tournaments, and Baseball and Softball games in May. Provide directions for Volunteers regarding the amount of food to prepare for each Activity and Instruction on how to operate the Popcorn Machine, Nacho Cheese Machine, Hot Dog Roller, Grill, and Cleaning (at the end of an activity). Documented Instructions should be provided and posted in the concessions for the Volunteers to follow at the beginning of each activity season.
Essential Functions:
  • Preparation includes cleaning the concessions and more specifically this means, cleaning counters, shelves, drawers, cabinets, drink coolers (inside & outside), refrigerators/freezers (inside & outside), Sink(s), Pizza warmer(s) (inside & outside), Nacho Cheese Machine (inside & outside) Popcorn Machine (inside & outside), Wash Dishes, Sweep and Mop floor before each Activity Season begins.
  • Responsible for Concessions Inventory as far as documenting what needs to be ordered depending on the activities listed on the Activity Calendar in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for moving inventory in between Concessions after an Activity Season ends.
  • Stock Concessions with Drinks, Candy, Chips, Nacho Cheese, Condiments and Cutlery on the day prior to a scheduled activity.
  • Taco Meat will also need to be prepped for most activities the day of the activity (at least 3 hours before the activity start time).
  • Review SignUp.com website to view Volunteer Status. Print sign up reports and place in the concessions prior to the activity start time.
  • Practice and Model Food Safety expectations by wearing gloves when prepping food and provide gloves to Volunteers working in the Concessions during an Activity when preparin food.
  • Make sure food temperature is at the appropriate/safe temperature before serving.
  • Assist Volunteers and Concessions Manager 2 when necessary.

Previous experience is preferred, but not necessary.
