Job description

Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable, experienced driver to operate our 26-foot shuttle bus pulling a 6x9 trailer for a 13-day regional concert tour running from August 18 through August 30 (multiple off days between). The tour originates out of San Jose, CA, with 5 show dates across Portland, Seattle, San Diego, and Ventura. Key Responsibilities: * Safe Transport: Ensure musical equipment is delivered in a safe and timely manner. Drive the band and crew safely between Portland and Seattle, San Diego and Ventura, as well as handling local transport between airports, hotels and venues; * Logistics & Gear: Assist the band with loading and unloading the trailer at venues; * Schedule Maintenance: Ensure timely arrivals for load-ins, soundchecks, and airport pickups; Requirements & Qualifications: * Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a Passenger Endorsement; * Clean driving record (MVR check required); * Proven experience handling passenger buses or large shuttle vehicles with trailers; * Physically able to help with loading / unloading the trailer as needed; * Past tour bus driving experience / band references encouraged; Perks include: * Fun, laid-back environment and relaxed schedule; * On-Board Amenities include sleeper bedding, refrigerator stocked with sandwich makings, snacks, and drinks, entertainment center and WiFi; * Short travel days and multiple down days between shows; * Accommodations for Non-Local Drivers: Guest room lodging and meals provided at our Bay Area home base during off-days.


To clarify, this is a contract job for the period from 8/13-8/30 which pays $2k in total + per diem on show days.
